Due to hurricane Irene, these cheerleaders had to postpone any thoughts of community service projects until the following week! It didn’t stop them in the end though! Some of the team members were able to get together at the end of the week and volunteer to help members of a neighboring town clean up from the devastation of the flooding. The town was hit hard, with many people losing everything including houses. Along with friends and family members, they showed up at the volunteer tent with gloves and masks and went to work.
