The Cosby High School cheerleaders are promoting Anti-Bullying with their “Be a Buddy, not a Bully” program. They will pass out hearts that make up the two round parts of the “d’s” in Buddy since it takes HEART to change someone from a bully to a buddy.

Due to hurricane Irene, these cheerleaders had to postpone any thoughts of community service projects until the following week! It didn’t stop them in the end though! Some of the team members were able to get together at the end of the week and volunteer to help members

During NSSD week Poca High School went pink. Also, many of the middle school kids, youth league and adults in the community went pink as well. The cheerleaders bought the football players pink mouth pieces, pink “polka dotted” socks, and pink wristbands for their own Breast Cancer Awareness
