Eastside Middle School cheerleaders planned a different activity for every day of NSSD week! On Tuesday, the cheerleaders hosted a food drive to support local Mt. Washington Ministries. Items were collected from the students throughout the week and delivered to the local Ministries. On Wednesday, during the lunch hours, the cheerleaders collected change to benefit Best Buddies of Kentucky. They called this “Give change to make a change” they collected $130.91 from the spare change students had after lunch. On Thursday, they also went to Home of the Innocence in downtown Louisville, KY to visit children in the Pediatric Convalescent Unit. They read to them, played games and took them for walks. On Friday, they went to Southeast Christian Church to restock pews for the services.
