The cheerleaders donated their time to help with the Mayberry Butterfly Walk for Lupus by selling paper footballs at lunch for $1 donations. The walk was organized by a MAHS alumnus, Barbi Manchester. The cheerleaders helped to start the walk off right by performing a spirit dance. A total of $9000 was raised for Lupus! They also worked the booths at the walk throughout the morning. They didn’t stop there, during the week they also cleaned out an area at the football stadium parking lot and created a flower bed for all to enjoy while tailgating at home games.
